Sponsored Cycle Ride – Help Needed!

Hello,

In aid of our augmentation appeal, I’m cycling 100 miles in the National Forest Autumn Challenge which starts from Loughborough on Sunday 5th October 2014.

I have never managed to cycle 100 miles in one day, let alone without a break! I am aiming to complete the non-stop challenge in under 6 hours!

Please be generous with your donation- every penny we raise will go towards the augmentation project.

  1. Update: Yesterday was the day of the 100 mile bike ride – I completed the route, which was 102.6 miles in total, in 5 hours 52 minutes. Comfortably within my 6 hour target! The route featured 5475ft of climbs, and I averaged 17.4mph.

The response to the fundraising effort has been incredible and I am truly very grateful to everyone who has made a donation to reach the total we have. But, it’s not too late to sponsor me, and every penny helps get us closer to our £12,000 target!

    Thank you very much indeed!

    James.
